Beefmaster Cattle
The Beefmaster breed remains today one of the most adaptable and profitable breeds in the beef industry. We choose this route for our ranch's breed based upon their six essential traits: fertility. disposition, weight, conformation, hardiness and maternal ability. The combination of these traits produces a cow that can survive the harsh conditions of the southwest, yet still reproduce efficiently.
Native Pasture Grasses
Native grasses and forage are best for young cattle because they maximize rumen development, long-term health, and cost efficiency. At Sieker Ranch we take pride in caring for the land while incorporating rotational grazing with our herd.
